Well its almost over fashion weeks around the world, the U.S. PARIS,MILAN, LONDON. it's been fun all the new collection from all the hot designers, some many great looks for spring 2010 to look forward to for both MEN and WOMEN. Real Men wear underwear

Over the past 20 years I have worked on thousands of menwear campains for clients around the country, and I have found that most if not all real men who are male models do like to wear underwear when they are shooting with me unless we are doing swimwear or body stuff. But not all real men like to wear underwear I see a lot of dudes come into the studio wearing nothing under they BLUE JEANS which can be very hot and sexy too if your into looking at dudes walking around with there family JEWELS swing in the wind. I tell male models all the time, if you don't want to be hit on by PHOTOGRAPHERS and CLIENTS then wear some underwear on CASTINGS and AUDITIONS.

Cougar premiere on TV Land tomorrow, but I’ll be watching the calendar pages instead in anticipation of the U.S. release of Stephen Frears’ Chéri, based on the 1920 novel by Colette (the famous French writer, not the store). The film, which had its Paris debut last week, stars Michelle Pfeiffer as Léa, a courtesan having an affair with a much younger man, Chéri, played by the pale, mop-headed, and altogether irresistible Rupert Friend, and the stills promise romantic turn-of-the-century costumes and lavish interiors to get lost in. Perhaps Chéri was the subconscious inspiration for bibliophile Karl Lagerfeld’s Spring accessories lookbook for Chanel—featuring Jerry Hall and Baptiste Giabiconi. Be that the case or not, older woman/younger man romances seem to be hotter than Balmain jackets.

Until the Spelling listing, Mariah Carey's dream home was America's most expensive on the market at $125 million. Recently, she made an offer on the mansion located in the exclusive Los Angeles neighborhood Holmby Hills, and we wait with bated breath to see if owner Suzanne Saperstein, ex-wife of billionaire David Saperstein, accepts. The French Chateau-style mini-palace is 45,000 square feet and features Italian marble walls, French limestone floors, gold-embossed leather wall coverings, a ballroom, and separate staff quarters for ten. With any luck Mariah and hubby Nick Cannon will close on the property soon so they have a place to put the reported $200,000 worth of furniture they bought for the pink nursery theyíre planning for their yet-to-be-conceived baby girl. This Fashion House will be so missed we have lost so many of our great fashion leaders, but they will always be remember in my heart forever.

The Men wear collection of CK

Bringing the Calvin Klein men's collection back to its home turf after years of showing in Milan might have made Italo Zucchelli think more than usual about its American roots (for his music, he picked "Jet Song" from West Side Story, the ultimate Manhattan soundtrack), but it certainly didn't steer him from the path he has set for the label. The subtle futurism of the movie Gattaca always comes to mind. In the same vein, Zucchelli will transmogrify something familiar—a tailored suit, say—into something alien by using a sci-fi fabric. Here, for instance, a liquid material flowed around the body like mercury. And the uniformity of outfits in shades of gray (anthracite, slate, dove, and a metallic zinc) with everything (suit, shirt, tie) matching also suggested the movie's hyper-sophisticated homogeneity. But with this collection, the designer perfected his high-tech, high-touch signature. A broad-shouldered Harris Tweed herringbone overcoat, a shearling hoodie, a winter-white leather bomber stood alone as classic menswear pieces. Jackets and pants in a molded wool/nylon were their polar opposites, looking like a gladiatorial something out of Tron (staying with the sci-fi movie cross-references), which pleased Tron fanboy Kanye West to no end.For Zucchelli, such an overt attempt to transform the body is an update of Calvin Klein's sportswear roots. It's like a Bruce Weber model's torso abstracted in fabric. Possibly too abstracted for some in the audience, but another way to look at it was as Zucchelli's take on the notions of protection and armor that are floating around New York. The metal closings on coats added a hard edge. So did the footwear, solid as construction boots. If life is about to get tougher in the city, this is the smart way to dress dystopia.

What a L.A. Mansion

LOS ANGELES – The widow of producer Aaron Spelling is placing "The Manor" in the exclusive Holmby Hills neighborhood on the market for a jaw-dropping $150 million, making it by far the most expensive home for sale in the U.S.
The French chateau-style mansion has 56,500 square feet of space on more than 4.6 acres and is the largest home in Los Angeles County. Among the neighbors are the Los Angeles Country Club and, not too far away, the Playboy Mansion.
Spelling's late husband produced hit shows such as "Charlie's Angels," "Dynasty" and "Beverly Hills 90210." He died in 2006.
"Everything there is glamorous, and is luxurious and it's really great scale," said Sally Forster Jones, an agent with Coldwell Banker Previews International in Los Angeles, which is co-listing the property. "There really is nothing to compare it to."
Spelling told The Associated Press that she let her dog Madison, a soft-coated Wheaten Terrier, help pick out the best real estate agent for the task. She had her security bring the dog into the room every time she met one of the candidate agents and watched how the dog reacted. If Madison didn't like them, Spelling crossed them off the list.
Prospective buyers won't have to worry about passing such scrutiny, Spelling jokes.
"Not at all," she says.
The three-story mansion, built in 1991, is gated and features a winding driveway that leads up to the three-story house, which includes ceilings that reach up to 30 feet high, Jones said.
While some published reports put the tally of rooms in the mansion at well past 100, Jones couldn't provide an exact count.
Spelling says she doesn't know either.
"You're really asking the wrong person," Spelling jokes. "There's a lot. (The house) has evolved and I actually haven't gone around and counted."
The Spellings found no shortage of uses for the many rooms in the mansion, however.
There's a bowling alley, wine cellar, wine tasting room, gift-wrapping room, a humidity-controlled silver storage room, China room, library, gym and media room, among many others.
The screening room is one of Spelling's favorites.
"I had some really wonderful times entertaining in that room," she said. "We showed movies and I still do."
The room features a movie projection system that automatically comes up from the floor at the same time that shades extend over the windows. It's an idea that came to Candy Spelling in dream as she sought to avoid having a projection screen open all the time.
"I wanted Aaron to have the best projection room anyone had ever seen, and the biggest, so I came with this solution, not realizing that we had to excavate a lot of dirt to get down that low, to have a special room that housed the screen that was totally dust free," said Spelling, 63.
The Spellings also finished the 17,000 square-foot attic that includes a barber shop and beauty salon.
The home also includes a wing for service staff, including a kitchen and seven bedrooms, and five fireplaces and four wet bars.
Lavish features also can be found outside the house, including a tennis court, fountains, a waterfall, a pool and spa, a reflection pool and a pool house with a kitchen, and 16 car ports.
The estate also boasts an 18th Century-style garden, a rooftop rose garden and a citrus orchard.
Prospective buyers won't have to worry much about parking when they host big parties. The property includes a winding motor court with space for more than 100 cars.
Spelling plans to trade her mansion lifestyle for a luxurious, two-story condo atop a residential tower in Los Angeles that she bought last year for $47 million.
"I have a lot of wonderful, wonderful, wonderful feelings about this house and special things that I went through in building it, with a love that you can't even imagine," she gushed. "Yet I feel like I'm moving on to a new chapter in my life."

As many of you know already I'm a Fashion Photographer/ Stylist by trade and I have a large fashion design background and over the years I have produced some 300 Fashion Shows, but I would say my first love is treuly developing model talent. I've been very luck to have work with some of the country's top MALE and FEMALE models for over the last 20 years and its been great to see these guys grow up and became AMERICA'S TOP MODELS and some have gone on to became some what Celebrity's in their oun right. Men's Wear shoot

well I did a men wear shoot this week in Los Angeles,ca for an old client of mind, I got to do my own shopping for the shoot since I was not only the photographer but the stylist too on the project. So I got to load up my old SUV with tons of great men's wear from the best stores like MACY'S , SAKS FIFTH AVENUE, BANANA REPUBLIC, AND KOHL'S it really fun traveling all over Los Angeles pulling clothes for a shoot, we did add in some vintage pieces from thrif store's on MELROSE AVE too. the male models we booked for the shoot were awesome I love working with great male models that really know how to move in front of the camera some of the guys had a problem with the VERSACE and HUGO BOSS underwear but they got over it fast. we did pay them really good fashion rates on this project.

I have for many years now had a male model friend that wanted me to tell his storie of how hard it is to make it in the male modeling world. He told me of some of the things that, Casting Director,Booking Agent and Photographers wanted him to do with them just to get a JOB!the storie you have heard are really are true I'm here to tell.
As a photographer myself I don't practice that type of behavier with talent, but I do know many other photographer and friends. That do try and get the male talent to do different SEXUAL things just to get the Job. It's shame that the industry is like that but is has been going on for decades now, in the 1980's big name designer would have the hottest guys do all type of thing just to get a big Job and most did it because they really wanted to be famous know matter what the cost. Well I'm telling my age when I say that I really miss the black supermodels walking in the runway shows for fashion week what the hell happen to the to the IMAN,PAT CLEVELANDS, BILLY BLAIRS,NAOMI CAMPBELL ansALEX WEK of the world on the runways of the top fashion designer, thats when fashions shows were truelly fun to go to back in the day. Oh my how times have change the girls today can hardly walk in fasion shows the way the black girls back in the 1980's and 1990's did they would walk the fucking hell out of a show of a designers gown or sportwear. PLEASE! let bring back the black supermodel onto the runways of the fashion world.
